Default Backfiring

Well, here I go again.Maybe someone here can help.I just did the 95' kit on my bike.02' softail SE cylinders, pistons(not high compression)203 cams, ignition.I took all of the parts to hopefully do it trouble free.I used the stock carb with a 195 main jet 48 slow jet and a 88' 1200 sporty needle. The bike starts fine idles fine and runs great. However, after I shut it down, if I try to start it and it's still a little hot , it backfires, and then it will start right up and run fine.I've heard everything so far, compression releases, too rich, too lean, and several other suggestions also.I know people are trying to help, and I appreciate it, but I think the carb is fine and at 9:4-1 I don't see a need for compression releases.Any and all suggestions are appreciated, and if I can help any of you I'll do the best I can,or if you just want to brag about your bike, car, job or anything else, drop me a line.I'll crack a cold one and read it...just like you were here.
