Default Pinion Gear Puller
After trying a standard puller on the pinion gear of my 1984 evo and getting nowhere, without fear of tearing something up, I've decided I better find out how everyone else does it.

Is there a common tool that can be used or do I have to spend a couple hundred dollars for "special tools" ?
