Cam Shaft Selection

Is there a particular camshaft that works well in the "new" TC98 EFI engines? I allways liked the "old school" lumpy idle.

If you just want a lumpy idle the SE 258 is the way to go,
however if you want serious preformance at the right RPM
there are a lot of better cams

I have an 07 tc96 and im interested in a bolt in cam.Could you please expound on some cam choices? I have se mufflers and air cleaner and i'd like to increase the power a bit but still keep usability and ride ability as i tour hundreds of miles at a time. What are the expected gains in hp and torque for a bolt in cam?

son has put 204's in both of his, 07Duece/09NT, dealer adds the 4*advance gear so tq comes on around 2400-2500 and it sounds "BAD" lumpy as all get out, twice as much as my Andrews 26's and performs great.
check out the dyno for softails sticky thread in the softail section and look up Calledtoduty for his dyno sheets. Post number 86 & 87.
