Just wondering if I could end up with a sleeper without going bigger inches. Thanks for any input.
I Pro-charged my '07 FLHT,I love it.It's completely stock except for the Rush slip-ons,30T EVO Compensator and I dyno'd at 123HP/108TQ{pg.125? dyno forum} I run the hell outa' mine with no problems what so ever, and the'07 models are known for weak cranks. If I were you I would'nt worry about the crank in your situation.

Thanks for all the ideas. I talked to Scott at Hillside this morning, I'm going to wait until I have a little more coin and go with a 107. I guess I was trying to think of something to make do with that I could do now, but the 107 is what I really want.

You're 7-feet tall to have pockets that deep! Since I don't, 101.7 hp from a 95" mill is plenty...

WTF? How much more you think it will cost me to go from 96" to 107" than you spent going from 88" to 95"?

My crank is on the crap end of the scale. Never did a burnout, or chirped the rear tire on a downshift, yet it had .007 on the sprocket side when I did some comp work on it. Next season when installing the SE comp it had .009. Don't know what the pinion side is and don't care even if it's .0000 because the extra vibration from the sprocket side is enough to make me pull it this fall and rework it. While at it going to 107.
Honestly I would have been happy with the 96 with a good set of cams and a 2-1 exhaust. It would have respectable power and torque with bolt on parts.

I'm with you so much it hurts! I AM happy with 96 with baby Andrews 21s and a TTS. Does OK by me. But with 006 on pinion side and now it puts my hands and feet asleep... So, I'm having the crank welded and trued up. Since it's apart... Heads, 106 kit, andrews 54s.

Slipped crank on my 09 is costing $3k to fix and do upgrade. Kinda sux. The upgrades will be nice though. 106 bike should be fun and I can go hunting SERGs in WVa.

boring the cylinders and pistons for a 107 should cost about the same as going from 88 to 95.

A bunch more. I didn't have to split the cases and remove the forged crank in my bottom end...

Sitting here thinking about things. There must be really something wrong with us Harley owners. If this amount of crank problems existed with metric owners they would have banded together, rented a boat and the factory would be a 5 alarm blaze right now. We just open our wallets to fix factory mistakes. Somethings just wrong here.

I'm not splitting my cases unless the runout is bad. I'll have my stock cylinders bored, buy pistons and have my stock heads ported. Then I'm at 107.
