Default Compression test specs

Was wondering if anyone has the best, and minimum acceptable compression specs for a 94 Ultra. (80" Evo) Shows 90 psi both cylinders @90K miles.

90 psi is low, but i'm wondering if your gauge is working right. can you check it with a different gauge, or try the gauge on your car?

Your front and rear are very close to the same, which is very good. if it still runs good and it really is that low (the gauge is accurate), then don't sweat it too much.

I just checked my front and rear cyls at 49,000 miles and they were both at 182psi, higher than i expected.

Factory specs on BT Evo is only like 80 psi, make sure the throttle is wide open when checking compression, gotta let the air in

A leak down test will show things a compression tester will not. Until I bought my 02 ultra in 01 I never had a electric starter on a Harley since 1971. never had a problem cranking any of them. No such thing as a hard starting Harley just one out of tune or needs engine work. LOL good luck.
