Question ??
Was getting ready to install top end and cam upgrade . Ev3 cam , JIms lifters , + 0.010 wiseco 10:1 pistons . New valves , springs and headwork . When checking ring gap I have .024 / .023 on both jugs on top and bottom . Pistons are 3.508 and noticed machine shop invoice states jugs are 3.510 . Seems correct to me , possibly wrong rings in piston kit ? What's the next step ?

Well my numbers were wrong . wiseco says the pistons are 3.506with skirt coating .
Machinist bored to 3.509 cause he measured pistons at 3.507 . I measured bore at top and botom and got 3.509but I measured piston at 3.506 . So .003 piston clearance . I ordered a 10 and 20 over se of rings thinking maybe the first set was packaged wrong , stll had .024 ring gap . So i used the 20 over rings and filed them . Put it all togethe this weekend and went through a couple of heat cycles yesterday and took it for a little jaunt today ( 3 mile sor so ) . So far so good .
