Default Backfire

Hey Guys
I now have a new 05 Ultra Classic. Twice now it has backfired when first started. It has happened after it has not been run for a couple of days, otherwise you can restart it all you want and no problem. It sounds like a rifle going off, has to be fuel acumilated in the exhaust I would think. It's up for 1000 mile in a week or two, I'll get it checked, but thought someone else may have had this happen.

I have an 05 softail/EFI and it has done the same from time to time and I just thought it was normal and I oly have about 1500 miles on it- I kinda like when it does in the underground parking lot at work - I am sure someone will check in with their thoughts on this

My efi Fatty did that the other day. Backfired on start up then died instantly. Hit the start button again fired up no problem and hasnt since. Go figure.
