Default Engine life ?
Call me a DORK, but I have to ask, what is a typical life expectancy out of lets say an 04,05,06 Harley Big Twin engine ? I currently ride a metric but currently looking at those year model Road Glides. Also any other issues I should be looking for.

There are a ton of things that factor into engine life. I don't think that there is 1 correct answer to this question.

Beau is corect espeacially if you let it sit in the garage and never ride it.......

With proper maintenance and addressing some of the most common issues with them, I would think 10's of thousands of miles...

Lots of EVOS go over 100 thousand. I don't know much about twin cams, but I would think they would do as well.

Had an 04 FLST in with 131,000 on it.
Needed some attention, but he is basking in the SoCal sun at this point.

with routine maintance well over 100,000 mile and I would venture to say 200,000 or more is possible. I have 76,000 on my 04 flhtc and very had an issue.
