Default Deuce pipes

Hi everyon! This is my 1st post!

I have a 04 Deuce. I love this bike and and have been having the time of my life with it. I want to put new pipes on. I have stock ones and they are just boring. There are several V&H pipes I like and will most likely choose one of them. (I am open for suggestions.) Anyway I am a do-it-your-self guy. (some what) I know I can put on the pipes my self and if I had to rejet the carb. *BUT* I have a efi. What do I need? Power commander? I have installed one before on a sport bike with ease. So I figured I could do it but I just don't know what I need?

I have the vance hines big radius on my deuce.

If you dont like the curved pipe i would suggest the long shots.

They are wide and long for a deep sound.

My big radius has more of a crack in the sound.

Hope this helps.

I have the Big Shot Staggered pipes on my 03 carb Deuce. I also bought the quiet baffles for average riding, but kept the stock baffles for those times when you just need to be heard.

Re-jetting and re-mapping is for the intake. If you are going to do pipes you should open the intake up there is allot of good pull found there. A powercommander is a good choice. I have the Big Radius and really like them, they look and sound good on the deuce.

jtfrog: I personally like the way the quiet baffle's sound. Same low rumble but without the "crack and pop" of the stock baffle.
