Default V&H Q series for Deuce

Looking at putting new pipes on my new Deuce. I had the SEII slip ons on my Sportster and would like something with a similiar sound level.I have read a few posts about the V&H Q series coming out and was wondering if anyone had them yet. Looking for abetter soundthen stock without wearing earplugs. Thanks!

I can suggest that you get the V&H pipes and order the quiet baffles for them. I Think it might be what your looking for. I just put V&H BSS with the regular baffles and they are quite load. I can keep it somewhat quite when need be but twist the throttle & they bark quite a bit. I don't know if that helps you. Good luck!

the "Q" series is the exact same exhaust as the SE pro 16ga double barrel, with the stock baffles they are louder than SE slipons, but not as loud as V&H big shot staggards.
the V&H quiet baffles will actually make them louder!

I have the quiet baffles in my SE pro 16ga exhaust and it sounds GREAT![8D]

Hey Deuce,

Am I reading this right, the quiet baffles make the pipes louder then the standard baffles? It sounds like these pipes are the way I want to go.

Bigelow is right on the money.
When SE stopped selling full exhaust systems the SE Pro 16 guage double barrel that was made by Vance & Hines for SE is now being sold as the Q series. They are not super quiet. They actually sound OK They do have a large baffle that is fairly restrictive and also a larger power chamber that makes them quieter than a big shot. They do give good low end grunt.
I have ordered a set of VH quiet baffles to put in them to give a some more sound. Can't wait to here them.
Did you have to re map when you installed the different baffles. I have the stage 1 download the dealer installed when the pipes and AC were installed.
Oops I see you have the auto tune. Did you install that with the pipes ?
