Andrews EZ Install Pushrods ??

Default Andrews EZ Install Pushrods ??
If one is to use these pushrods, is it neccessary to buy new pushrod tubes or do you use your existing stock ones ? I ask because I see H-D quick installs come with chrome tubes. Any pros/cons with Andrews ?

New tubes are not required but are supposed to make adjustment easier during install. I'm running the Andrews in my setup and I have stock tubes, and it was more difficult to adjust than the HD replacement tubes. I have worked with both types and that was the only difference I have seen, so just a choice you have to make.

Chromoly or aluminum ?

Are you guys using loctite to lock the jamnuts? Or just cranking them down?
