Abnormal engine vibration
2006 ultra
95" big bore SE 203 cams .030 cometic head gaskets SE flatop pistons port and polish on heads PC III true duall headpips V&H monster ovals stock valve springs
Custom map from Jamie at fuel Moto never had a dyno tune!!!!
History
Had the bike about 2 months before I did the engine build, now it has about 4000 miles on build.
Runs like a rapped ape !!!
But the more I compare it to other bikes, I think its very excessive.
At Idle with hands on bars very noticeable shake, run up to about 1800 rpm
VERY BAD shake.
I have changed the front engine mount.
Now my friend has a 2003 ultra stock engine stage 1
does not even compare to his bike neighbor has a 2006 streetbob hardley shakes at all.
I can also feel this while riding feels like something is out of "balance"
not like tire balance, while riding 75 mph pull clutch in its smooth as silk, so its not a speed vibration.
Does any body no of someone with the same engine build or simular and does there bike shake or preety smooth!!!

Go for a dyno tune and see if the vibration changes, if not, pop the cam plate off and check the pinion shaft runout, inspect the oil pump, and the surface of the cam plate for rotor gear wear.
