Ok.
When I tried to remove som discs in order to pass the dB test I accidentally snapped one of the six retentionsscrews on my SE 2-1 supertrapp system.
I can not get hold of the end of it because it´s level with the plate holding it.
Is there a way of removing the core in this system? Bromstick and punch it out from the front end or likwise?
If I intend to drill it out and retread it I will have a loose piece of it ratteling about in the slip on, and I wouldn´t like that..
Update:
Got the muffler out. 2 screws holding it on my SE Supertrapp 2-1.
Easy job. Bromstickhandle and a few light taps got it all out. Snapped screws accessible.
Use never seize when re-installing disc retention screws, but you already knew that!
Yes. The reason for my mishap was that I used long screws (15-30 discs) with only 3 disc to pass the yearly soundtest. Bent the screws against isolation, -made them snap.
I use Cu-past in large amounts.
Thankyou anyhow for the advice.
