The purpose of a new air intake (or exhaust) is to move more air into and out of the engine. If you move more air, you must move more fuel to keep the ratio correct. If you don't have to tune the computer, then you didn't add any extra air flow.
Go to the wimmer web site. They have a chart depicting air flow for various intake set ups and filters. If you pick one that matches your current air flow, then you won't have to tune the computer.
