As much as I love this new Deluxe, the sound is rather ahhhhh, anemic..... fresh out of the box.... At the 1000 mile checkup, I asked about new pipes and the mechanics recommended that I not put anything else on it for now. Said they weren't much louder anyway. Was told to wait awhile, new pipes were coming and the Screaming Eagles were not legal anymore.

I have Gary's Dyna that he had Screamin' Eagles put on and the Heritage had Vance and Hines put on before it ever left the shop. My Vstar sounds more like a Harley than this beautiful girl does.

Any recommendations?

Find the pipes you like best and put them on. Whiplush has some nice pipes on his Deluxe (check out the ride of the month)and I'm sure you can find some that will look good and sound good.
