Which pipes????

Which pipes for a Softail Deluxe to change over from stock but still not toooo loud? Want the nice sound, louder than stock but not window rattling. Thanks.

If I were you, I would go down to the dealer or someplace where there are lots of bikes around. Someplace where you can hear the different pipes and slip-ons. You are the only one who will know what type of sound and how much of it you are looking for. Better to get a good sampling before you lay out some serious cash for something you may not like.

Vance and Hines 2 into 1 Pro Pipes. I just put them on a deluxe and the sound is deep and throaty, but not too loud. Perfect IMO. Also, the performance is huge. Give me your email and I will send you pics.

My Python pipes match what you are looking for. I believe Phython is a subsidiary of Vance and Hines. They have the same exact pipes as Vance and Hines except they say "Python" and run about $70 cheaper. They sound great and look fantastic.
