1987 fxlrc sputtering
1987 Fxlrc runs great for first few miles then will start sputtering and backfiring on acceleration. I did the basics... emptied of tank, checked pit **** strainer, replace fuel line/filter, and drained carb bowl. Put new plugs and batt on as well. Also changed oil.
The way it sounds and is acting feels like when you are about to run out of gas.
Any ideas that I may be able run with?
