Default Dobeck Controller going bad??

I am thinking that my Dobeck controller is going bad. When it is hooked up the bike doesent like to ideal smooth at all. Its running like a cold start cam lope when warm almost like only running on one cyclinder. when I unhook-it the the bike will ideal smooth when warm(has HD stage 1 download also). Sounds like the Dobeck controller is on the Fritz. I have been looking into the TTS mastertune. Looks like a great way to self tune and cut out the Dealers to me.
From what I have read about the TTS is that you have to ride with a LapTop to get the tune at its best. kinda Like a self Dyno run on the Street.

03 Ultra 88", V&H 4" round slip-ons, V&H V02 naked intake,Fueling oil pump and cam chest,S&S 510G cams, Dobeck Programer+ HD stage 1 Download

Did you talk to Dobeck?
I hear their service techs are pretty good. Maybe the unit just needs a tweak.

Don't want to be a wise guy, but maybe the trash can is the best place for that.

In their warranty video they used to show running over one with a car. Can't hurt to call them. I used one for years before I built my motor. I also had a stage one dowwnload so I only used it to fatten uo the top end slightly. It worked fine.

LMAO, but I fully agree.

The TTS is a great system, no add on to go bad, just adjust throughthe stock ECM, and those rarely if ever go bad.

I talked to Chris at Dobeck today and we went over some test. He told me to send it back and they would upgrade me to there GenIII at no cost to me. Very cool!

Hillside, your advise is always appreciated, no harm here.

Dalton, I have been checking Into the TTS, I do not have an O2 sensor so the VTune option will not work for my app. I talked to the TTS people and he said that you just have to tune like a carb but you could +/- timing. Seat of the pants type of deal, unless someone had a Dyno with some I believe AFR stuff?

I couldn't agree more with you. Those things have got to be the worst tuner ever made. I didn't know anyone still used them.
