Quieting down Thunderheader?

Default Quieting down Thunderheader?
I'm seriously thinking about purchasing my friend's 1998 Road King Classic. It is currently equipped with Thunderheader exhaust and is LOUD. While I like the sound, I think it will test my ears on long rides and my neighbor's patience in the mornings.

Is there any way to quite this exhaust system down a bit?
