Fluid Leak
I think I may have some kind of a leak. The thing is, I park my bike in an indoor garage - always in the same spot - and there's no oil "drip spots" on the floor under the bike.
I have a 2011 Harley Fatboy Lo. I started to notice what looks like a "sheen" of oil on a certain part of the engine block; I'm going to put some links to some pictures so you can see precisely where I'm talking about.
If it is indeed a leak of some type (oil or possibly brake fluid), it seems kind of strange that it's not leaving oil drip spots on my garage floor, unless the leak's so slow that the heat of the engine dries up the fluid before it has a chance to drip onto the floor.
Now for the pics.
The first one is an establishing shot so you can first see where I'm talking about; this will be the right side of the bike: you can see the right floor board & brake pedal:

The red arrow you see points to the area where I see the sheen of oil. Now to zoom in a little on that area:

The red arrow points to the part of the engine block where I see the sheen.
And now for another angle of the close-up:

The red arrow points to where you just might be able to make out some of that sticky-looking sheen.
And the blue arrow? What is that pointing at? What is that round piece with the line coming out of it? I can't tell if the leak is actually coming from this piece, but, this piece is also getting coated with the sticky sheen.
Before bringing the bike into a mechanic, I thought I'd post here to see if this particular model of Harley is "known" for a certain type of leak (and perhaps it's something I can fix myself with a little tightening of a bolt, or replace a little O-ring or something).
Thanks for any helpful input.

It looks more like its just seeping, not quite a leak yet.
If it was brake fluid, it would make all the painted surfaces it laid on bubble up.
It looks like its coming from whatever that sending unit is. Oil temp maybe?
Best thing to do, take it in.
I know it's a pain in the a$$ but you'll feel better about it in the long run.
