can someone tell me what kind of intake Mukuni uses stock or can i use S&S?
Im and S&S person and out of all my bikes i have never had a mukuni but a friend swears if i run it ill never change so he gave me a new one.. So i am going to check it out just dont have intake except S&S and CV!!!
An S&S spigot-style intake manifold, has a 1.780" I.D., where it mates to the cylinder head, and this is great, as long as the cylinder head has been ported to take advantage of the increased plenum volume, except
the un-touched OE cylinder head has a port I.D. of about 1.630".
The in-coming charge is going to slam into a wall, all around the outside edge.
The OE CV manifold, will work for your new-found 42 Mik.

Thanks for info just picked up S&S carb been running them for years and ill just stick with it..The mukuni was givin to me and i dont really care to figure it out when i got the S&S down...
But like i said thanks again..
