Need Recommendations for Tank Cleaning
I've read through several threads here at HDForums and others. Just finished the initial cleaning of my tank but I noticed what appears to be a lining starting to peal off on the inside. Possibly, the previous owner may have attempted to kreme coat the tank.
What is the best way to remove this old lining? The integrity of the tank looks fine - I just don't want this to continue to peal and end up with fuel issues. I've read that rinsing with MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) will work - anybody have success with this? I really need to be careful of the paint. Thanks.
