Default Need some help

This is also in the touring forum but I figured I would put it here so I could maybe get some more advice/suggestions.

Need help diagnosing a problem with my bike. When I start it up it runs fine but when I take off at a slow pace the rear cylinder cuts out. At highway speeds or if I am accelerating it runs smoothly but if I am riding slow it will cut out and then kick back in as I get into the throttle. This problem just started on Monday.
Bike is an 04 road king big bore kit, true dual exhaust, thundermax auto tune, DNA heavy breather intake.

Well I made it home with no problems once I got out on the road and got on it. I checked the plugs at work and they look good. Dont really know how I would go about checking the coil since it only happens sometimes.
Neither the battery or the main fuse have been changed in a while.

Also since I have been home I hooked the laptop up to the thundermax to check for any codes and got nothing. I monitored everything and it was all looking good. I took the airfilter off and cleaned the throttle body, and everything which had a good coating of oil from the breathers, and tomorrow I am gonna get some injector cleaner to put in the tank when I fill up and see if that will clear up the issues.

Well I didnt get to ride to work today to see if what I did helped any, but I did go out and start it up after work, and rode it up and down the driveway slowly and it seemed to be a little better but it is still doing it.

Could it be that the oil from the breathers got into the intake and fouled some things up and is causing this problem when the bike is still "cold"?

Aye marine!
Just curious how you know what jug is dead when your riding?

The cheap troubleshooting I'd do is switch the plugs, wires, and coil positions. If the problem switches to front you know it's one of those three things and I'd replace coil last after replacing plugs and wires. After that I'd look at the injectors. Unplug and reseat electrical plugs for injectors. Do you spray wash? I remember in new river nc that area was full of power spray type car wash do it yourself places. Semper fi . Jim

I can tell it is the rear cylinder since I have the true duals on the biike. I can hear the sound change on my left pipe but can still hear the firing on the right pipe. And to wash the bike I just use my water hose at the house and some good soapy water. That is when it isnt raining come my wash day..
