103 Motor "ping ping ping"
1/2 oz to a gal. It is TOTALLY GONE. (I hope) I will carry it on the bike in a small 4oz bottle for road fill ups.
It was more noticeable when the engine was hot.
Give it a try. You don't have to fill your tank. Just figure what you have in it and add 1/2oz per gal and just give it a try.
The bike seem to be more responsive also.
Just my 2 cents.
Gas today is garbage unless you get race gas. My friend runs a well known dyno shop and said the exact same thing. He said sometimes you never know what you are buying when you buy 93 or 91. Sometimes it's even 87 he said. He has seen lots of problems on the dyno. Don't forget if it is a single hose pump, you might be getting 87 that was left in the hose from the previous buyer. I have been told it could be as much as a gal because of the lines and filters it goes through in the pump.
Ethanol gas leans out the motor also. even 10%. I can see it in my AEM air/fuel gauge when I switch between 91 non ethanol and 93 e10.
