Hi im hoping some one can help my mate has a 2002 softial heritage i belive it is a 1450 cc it has always run sweet and bin looked after however in the last week or so when going up hill in 4th and 5th gear especially whith a passenger he has noticrd a clincking noise thats hoe he described it coming from the primary drive then he described it as tho it sounded like there was a knut moving round in there so then today hes had it on a lift with the wheels free moving and put it through every gear he said it now sounds like it was coming from frobt cylinder head so he striped the head down but says nothing seems loose or broke however he did find some iron dust / fillings in the oil around the cylinder head does any one know what the likley culprit will be thanks in advance for you comments and please forgive any spelling mistakes
