Default trouble starting my evo

I have a 85 flht that has been sitting for two years and decided it was time to get it going again but having a hard time turning it over. All the oilk has drained down into the crankcase i beleive. I pulled the plugs and lightly lubed the cylinders put new batt, gas and spun it over a few times without the plugs in and turns over fine, put the plugs in and it wont turn over at all just stops like it hit a wall when you hit the starter button. it pukes out oil out of the cranckcase breather when you hit the start button. Im confused on what is going on. Anybody had these same probs.

It's still full of oil, keep charging the battery and turning it over with the plugs out until it quits pucking. Don't over heat the starter or you will have another problem. (:

Also, you might want to check and make sure all of your connections are clean. Electrical connections that is. All the way from the battery to the starter and battery to ground, wherever that may be.

Your check valve is not seated correctly in your oil pump, which causes seepage into the lower casing. It is common to have oil puking out the crank filter when a bike has been sitting for awhile. Like King says, once you've got it to quit puking, it should turn over.
