Thats an easy fix and very common problem with V&H ovals. Remove the baffle and give it a tap with a hammer on the end that slides furthest in the muffler body. You just have to out of round it slightly to tighten the fit. This will fix your problem with zero cost, and I got the information from a tech at V&H and it worked.
An update (Rideon), I called VH in L.A. today telling them about the rattling noise in my right muffler. I also told them I had 10k miles on the mufflers. Guess what, they're sending me a whole new baffle! Free! Just want to pass this info on. Great customer service!
I hope that fixes your problem, if the baffle slides in too loose do the trick I suggest and all will be good. When I was having problems with my V&H ovals I grabbed a brand new muffler off the shelf at a shop, shook it and it rattled too!
