Default SE HTTC CNC Heads

I posted this on the HS site and after reading more I am conflicted. Are these heads/cylinders and pistons worth getting or as the replies I have gotten...just get the stock heads redone. These will be for a 2003 FLSTS/I Heritage Springer that is currently stock other than aftermarket slip-ons.

I have contacted the owner of the below listed parts since I was interested in them. After reading a few posts on another gentlemans engine build I am hesitant. I did some research and from what I can understand, these are not very good heads to use on a 95 build? Or am I reading it wrong?
I am supposed to be picking up an '03 HS in a month and am already contemplating boosting its HP/TQ. I'm not in any big hurry to do this but if I can get a decent deal on these SE parts I will pick them up.

"Screamin' Eagle HTCC cylinder heads ....used but in excellent condition look almost brand new ....valves were resealed and new valve guide seals were installed...they are ready to go
New Harley Davidson 95 inch cylinders
Matching Forged Screamin' Eagle pistons New .......95 inch $1200 or make an offer"

Depends on what year the heads are. Earlier SE heads are not as good as the later ones. The best stock heads are 06 and up as they flow better and have a much bigger exhaust port that not only helps performance but all so helps with heat.

Sounds like a eBay add do you have a link and I will look at them.

In my opinion most of the sceamin eagle stuff needs to be reworked anyhow, may as well use the heads you have and get them done right. Pay once not twice. And your results will be better.

Okay, I was able to get the part number on the heads, pistons, and cylinders. From what I can find in my older catalog these are for someone wanting a higher output (HP and TQ) engine.
Head part number: 16925-BL
Piston: 22439-00A
Cylinders: 16547-99

Those heads flow well with big valves and ports but the velocity was relatively low and most 95" motors using the HTTC heads lack bottom end torque. Work them and use them on a 113" build and the results will be quite different. Port your OEM heads for better results. JMHO.
