203 comes on earlier and doesn't carry out as far. True duals on a 88"er usually hurt bottom end and, if that is the case for you, it will be more noticeable with the 204s. A 2:1 will usually correct that early torque dip. Both cams need more than stock compression to shine. I have run them both in 95" configuration with worked heads and 9.8 compression and the 204 is a much underrated cam. A set of 204s in a stock 103" motor will surprise you.

I have yet understood why any one would run true duals. There is a reason for pipes being hooked together.

As djl has pointed out, the better of the 2, for what you currently have would be the 203's.

Well, how about because they like the look and the sound? I like the Rinehart TDs on my 107" FLHT; runs strong and sounds good. Not too loud but authoritative when the throttle is applied. TDs are fine on larger displacement motors. JMHO.

I have the full sac cheapy true dual set up with rineharts and certainly noticed no seat of the pants difference, if I lost anything down low I can't feel it so I'm thrilled. The heat reduction on the right thigh is worth the price alone not to mention a proper balanced sound.
