Thanks 46, my mechanic is a good friend and hes giving me special prices on all the parts. we pretty much nailed dn everything today and I gave him the deposit. Yep Im getting the 10cr weisco kit. Many Thanks

Been riding and working on Harley s for 42 years none stop and glade to help. Since you are getting new pistons I recommend doing a fresh bore job. They make over size pistons. I would pull them put them in torque plates and check them and go with the smallest over size I could.

I would put them in torque plates and check them before ordering pistons as I think they come in .005 over size and leaves you more meat if you need it in the future. Going .005, .010 or even .020 is not going to increase you displacement enough to make a difference. maybe a couple CCs if that.

My mechanic wanted 10.5 cr domed weiscos. I wanted 10/1 flat tops if they made them.
I went with 10/1 domed weiscos. They are practically flat tops because of the deep reliefs for the valves. Bike may be done this weekend.
