I have a 2006 FLSTFI custom with a Screamin Eagle Stage 2 Big Bore Kit, 95CI SE203 Cams 3 7/8 pistons and cylinders, Vance and Hines Straight Shots with stock loud baffles.
I was thinking of getting a set of the Big City Thunder Monster Baffles. Has anyone tried these, what did you think?
I had em' in my Softail Samson Short Slashers.
The Samson's were straight pipes and sounded "tinny" or metalic sounding.
Running straight pipes robbed me of low end "git up and go" TQ power too.
However, after installing the BCT's I had low end TQ and no more "tinny" sound.
In fact they were so good that after listening to others and thinking that I needed to put a 2-1 on, as I might gain more, I really couldn't tell any difference, and usually a 2-1 will be better than any other pipe configuration.
They were a big winner for me and I highly recommend them.

I put the BCT QQ's on my V&H and they gave a much deeper sound. It was the best sound I ever got out of those pipes. Can't say if I noticed any difference in how it ran, but it brought to mind a small block V8.
