Lo load stumble
I have a low load stumble or miss on my 07 fatboy. I have spent several hours researching and not sure how to proceed. It happens for example when I'm creeping through my neighborhood trying to keep the sound down.. As soon as I give it a tiny bit of throttle it goes away. Happens in mostly first and second gear.
I just bought it, has 35k miles and the previous owner is lucky to no longer be in this messed up lifetime we are in (he died). So I have no history. Has a VH pro pipe and power commander III. Oddly the map is pretty lean compared to the VH map for the pipe and stage 1 I downloaded.. But.. I'm concerned that the bike was running right and something is wrong and don't want to mess with the map and band aid it. (Yet).
The fuel line has factory clamps on it so don't think the 8 degree injectors have been replaced but I don't think this is an 8 degree symptom? How can I tell if they are 8 degree ? I can't see any part numbers. Think they say made in mexico... Yeeeesh. Maybe looking at wrong part.
I pulled the codes and only had one a p1004 I think... Relay... Reset it and it didn't come back. I'm gonna check the tank fuel line as soon as I burn some fuel... But looking for ideas... Oh the muffler portion of the pro pipe is loose at the header connection... How can I seal that? Is it possible the baffle is blown?
I replaced the plugs with no change.. But not wires.
Based on what I've read I think this could be a back pressure issue but would like some advice.
