96 bad boy
I have a 96 soft tail springer , (1340) This bike has been setting for 2 years . I just got it running and the oil tank keeps filling up with oil... I drain the oil to the right level and ride for a while and check the oil ..it's above the level again... What could it be? The other oil levels check OK. Doesn't smell of gas other than normal.....can't put my finger on it.

Someone probably saw that the oil in the tank was low, and filled it, not knowing the crank was full, and the return side of the pump would grab it, and send it back to the oil tank.
Wonder it did not blow the dipstick out.
Keep riding it on short hops, and checking, and it'll shortly level out if in fact that is what has occured.
