Default Vance an hines duals vs. power duals

Does anyone have any insight on the differance in sound between 2-1-2 exhaust and true duals? Got my cfrs on the bike and concidering a new header now.i like the look and power increase of the power duals but like the idea of my right side muffler not taking all the heat with the true duals. Not sure which way to go?

I've had Power Duals, and Dresser Duals. The power difference between the two is marginal at best, they are both good head pipes, but picking one over the other because of power, isn't worth it on a relatively stock bike.

That being said, the Power Duals seem to "smooth" out the thump between the cylinder pulses in your exhaust not. They give it a more "even" tone.

The Dresser Duals give more of a "Thump" due to the cylinders still keeping individual exhaust pipes. They also have ever so slightly more ground clearance. Not much though.

I prefered the sound & looks of my Power Duals. A buddy now has my Dresser Duals and he swears his sounds better and he doesn't like the X crossover.... I think he's dillusional.

Just my .02.

Can you tell me if either header is better for getting rid of the heat issue on my 2013 limited?

Im thinking of putting on V&H Monster Squared with one of these headers.

Thanks
