After cruising, usually on the interstate or highway, when I come to a red light or exit and let the engine rev down, when I clutch it occasionally (becoming more frequent) the engine will just stall out. When I start it back, it run as long as I keep a little fuel pumping thru it. After it sits a little while it will start up and idle just fine. Any suggestions on what I should check?
I heard about this before but cant remember where anyway did you put a inline fuel filter in by chance iv heard that sometimes this will cause a vapor lock from the motor heat.
try cleaning the IAC with some throttle body cleaner
My 07 would idle high and this was the problem..Cleaned it 3 times over a 6 month period and the problem never came back..I know that I just jinxed myself by mentioning this..
Thanks guys! I'm gonna try cleaning a few times. If that doesn't work, ill try replacing it. Would brake cleaner be safe to use to clean it, or would I need throttle body cleaner?
