You may be able to go less expensive for the build.. call Scott, but i told him i like to do things once and do it right. I didnt skimp and let him work magic. That is what the pros are for and it certainly shows. I certainly do not regret one bit of the build and would do it again the same way..
mstng5point0 My engine is going to Hillside in the next couple weeks for a 107 with a S&S crank. Its builds like this that make me want to go 117"
Congrats on a killer bike.
Your in good hands. She will be a ripper. Post her up when done.!
I figure in about 3-5 years i will be able to drop about $2500 in a motor upgrade so might not be as agressive as Marc but i think i can do pretty good...That D&D will be on the list for sure...No doubt Scott does good work and It might be worth going there but i have some good builders here in NC also... By this time i will have way over 100000 miles on the old Girl and she will need a refresh of some kind...
Congrats again Marc and enjoy...
Me too, but if you can, why not? You know you're not penny pinching too much are you!? You will be roaring around soon wearing a funny grin!
Ohhhh brother I can't wait! I'll be able to hear it before riding season but will have to count down the day to a decent 50+ degree day when she's done.
Marc....had Hillside do my107 build late Oct. Yes great team Scott has and very respectful. And kind individuals with friendly support.. I have powervision. What kind of tuner did use. . I plan to use Joe also but wondering if he can tune with powervision.

I have a PCV...Joe can absolutely tune with the power vision, he is fully trained on all Power-commander units.

He had lots of good to say about the 107 build i have planned. I already have gear drives, s&s 585g cams, thunderheader, hpi 51mm and a few other things. So if i go 117 it will be with these parts. Either way it will be gettin an S&S crank.
The deciding factor is do i want to bore my stock jugs or spend an extra $750 on case bore and S&S 4 1/8 cylinders.

Displacement is displacement, but remember to have a good hard runner, everything needs to work together..Ask Scott what he thinks running what you already have, and see what his suggestion is...
