Rocker Boxes
So I am going to start the Disassembly of my 2011 SG for black powder coat. I will be doing all of the engine covers to include the rocker boxes. I have never taken rocker boxes off before. What would you consider the level of difficulty? I am moderate to advanced in my mechanical abilities. Thanks in advance.

On a 1-10; 10 being the most difficult; I would rate it as a 1. Some of the fasteners are in tight places but, with the right tool, no problem. Not a must have but I woud get the SM for the bike as a reference.
it is very easy, lots of how-to's on here as well. if yoiu would like we do an excahnge program for the rockers that way you have a set in hand so you can tear them off and reinstall them all in one sitting.

Ordered It!
Just ordered the SM DVD from Ebay. I agree, the SM will come in handy for torque specs and other things I forget to take pictures of.
