The first $$$$ id spend on this build is to have the heads worked on becausethe things your wanting to doare not going to beeven close to as good as they can be without it. 300-400 bucks of head work will make all the difference in the world. As far as cams go, If your going to run the high compression pistons you better run a decent cam or your going to get alot of pinging and rattling. You need toatleast run the Andrews 37 cams with thatkinda compression. Or maybe Woods TW7-Hthats my 2 cents
I'm not going to use the HC pistons. Decided not to. I already bought all the parts:
SE 95" cylinders
SE 95" Falt-top pistons
Andrews TW26A Cams.
I already have:
V&H 2-1 Propipe
SE A/C
SERT
I think all this togther should give the performance I am looking for and a fun bike to ride. I am not interested in doing head work right know. For me I don't think the head work would be worth it to me.
We got delayed a little. I'm on vacation this week so we are going to work on it tomorrow night and have it done by the weekend, i'll let everyone know who it turns out. I'm excited to get it done and I can't wait to ride it after the build. Weather is supposed to be crappy the rest of the week so it will be a good week to di the build.
