Hello, having a few issues here. Any thoughts are much appreciated.
I have a 2013 Road glide. 103ci with woods tw555 cams, cobra fi2000 powerpro auto tuner, v& h powerpro high output 2-1 slipon, SE stage1 air cleaner with k&n hiflo filter, and stage2 flash.
This setup was working perfectly, but I had to have a 2-1 thunderheader. I bought and installed it with new exhaust gaskets. No heatshields.
Now the pipes and exhaust run super hot and at 3500rpm it stumbles. If I quickly roll through it, its unnoticeable, but if I sit at 3500 its coughing. Any gear. No other symptoms.
Do I need to dump the cobra and get a super tuner with dyno or thundermax? Do I need another flash? I'm just pissed I have to take it back off now till I can afford that stuff. I thought my cobra would handle it.
Both symptoms indicate a lean condition. The Cobra tuner is an auto tuner, and should compensate. I would look at a smaller baffle size or an exhaust backpressure baffle or lolli-pop back pressure modification.
