Default Do I need a steering damper?

Do I need a damper for my 1945 WL?
My 2010 Dyna doesn't have one.
I don't plan on off-road, or high speed runs.

I got one because I was was tired of looking at the hole where it lives. Not a cheap thing to source, I bought it bit by bit.

I think it helps a little at speed, not enough to not ride the bike, but a little. A shot of it with the previous handle bars, you can see the mix of original parts and Colony replacements.

Shovel and Twinkie have both been giving me a hard way to go for a couple of weeks.

Saturday the wife and I took a long ride on the Evo.

Yesterday I took the Flathead out, needed wind therapy on bikes that were not going to **** and moan the entire time.

You never know which one is going to be your go to.
