Anyone know of good chrome plater for old harley parts? My 45 has some cosmetic parts which are currently chrome plated and need refreshing. I live in MN.
Thank you!
chrome is very expensive to get the real job done ( triple plating nickel copper then the chrome ) all metals deemed non environmentally safe ) its all bullshit chrome today most places - it lasts a year before pealing again
what we do is have it stripped off and polish the aluminum steel paint it black to match the frame
in phily is my chromer - inner primary - foot peg brackets 4 of them - front motor mounts - trans door - lifter blocks - brake pedal rear - was 2000 dollars in real chrome
John thanks. I know about the quality today (or lack there of) with chrome. Just curious to see if anyone stands out. Like paint shops, quality is all over the board.
Thanks for your response!
