Nether seem to be the correct part, and I’m also not willing to drop $400 on this coming from across the globe, either.
Is this a part that is pretty much made of unobtanium?
I’ve checked the places stateside I am familiar with, and came up empty.
I’m not doing a resto, but I do like to be able to change a flat tire/tube on the road, which is why it would be nice to have the front stand (I already have a rear stand).
I suppose there are ways to do this without the stand, but that’s why the damn thing was put on these. I get that it was an option, but it’s one I’d like to get if I could.
Thanks, and though the parts manual lists a part number for a civilian US stand, I believe it’s reare as hen’s teeth, thus I will probably abandon my search. In all fairness, it’s not going to make the bike look cleaner.
