I have a 45 wl, I am trying to figure out which post is considered the field post and which post is the armature post on a 6 volt generator. I know which is green and which is red according to the manual, so if someone could tell me if the red is the armature and the green is the field of vice versa that would be great. I am trying to wire a new voltage regulator and battery eliminator. I can't seem to get this system to work, any advise on how to wire this or a wiring diagram would be great.
