45 service manual

i'm getting ready to start on a 51 45 flathead.looking for a good service manual,there are several out there.whitch one is the best.

Mine is a '42 so I wound up buying the military manuals. www.nosparts.com seems to have a good list of available manuals. You might also try eBay.

thanks for the info,there are so many books out there that you could spend a lot of money finding the right one.that where help from other members comes in handy.

I use the military manuals also and they are OK to get you started. Remember they were, at least the one I have, written for trained personnel who weren't starting at the beginning. If I find anything better I'll get back with you.
