Default Right hand case bearing modification

My Flathead a (1946WL) on the right hand case the (pinion shaft) only has one set of bearings on the left case (sprocket shaft) has two sets of bearings.
Isn’t their a modification to make the right side case a dual bearing? If so how do I go about doing this modification?
Any part numbers and a step by step procedure on how to do this would be much appreciated.
