I had a 32e generator come up missing and found a model 58 in it's place. both are 2 brush 6v but 32e was in good shape and 58 needs total rebuild. bike was in shop in WV. with box of parts but they said that was generator that was brought in, know nothing about 32e. any way will 58 work on a 51 G model 45? bolt holes , spacers, length. i think 32e was 14 tooth and58 is 13 tooth gear. reliability ? can not find much info on it. also was thinking of going 12v. any helpful info would be appreciated. lesson learned, make shop sing inventory of all parts before leaving.
