How to send pm with a Mac
Why is it so difficult? Want to send a pm to a member, I click on members name and go to their profile....have not seen an area to pm them.
I Have also received a message from another member, and we no way to respond to their message.
Don't have a problem on other forums....but cannot figure this out.....any help would be appreciated.

You being on a Mac has nothing to do with it.
You need to have a few more posts before you will have all of the forum features available to you.
When you have enough posts, you will see the PM feature available when you click on a users name.
Right now, you just don't have that feature available.
I use a Mac (and many others here too), without any issues.
Your accessing this forum through a Web Browser, and it really doesn't care what computer your using.
Edit: Check out some of the posts in the "New Members" area. A lot of your questions might be answered. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-members-area-4/
