Is there any way to get that lousy "Ad Choices" ad to stop popping up on this forum while browsing?? It's Annoyimg as hell and actually screws things up when using my IPad. I want it dead!

 

Install AdBlocker.

And when you do, give the developer a $5 donation. He deserves it.

 

I'm using Dolphin on my iPad and it has an ad blocker and I very rarely see any pop ups.

 

My ipad wont let download Adblock, but it already has an ad blocker built in. I don't get any pop ups anywhere but here. I might add that that "AdChoice" popped up twice while I was writing this reply!

 

What browser are you using? Safari has an ad blocker option. But to me, Dolphin is better.

 

This is an iPad 1. I know it's old, but can't justify a new one as long as it continues to work. Other than the occasional memory crash, it works well..

Like I said' I only have the pop up problem on the HD forum, so it's unique to this site?

 

I have a 2 edition. It's 3 years old and like you, I don't have a reason to get a new one.

Anyway, it's odd that you only have pop ups here and nowhere else. But I'd try different browsers, as long as you have access to them in the App Store.

Man, I wish the administrator could do something about that @&$) ad! It's really pissing me off and it's only on this HDforum.

 

One alternative is to make this "paid website" for all who register. That might stop the ads but there'd be fewer people here.
