How do you delete messages, etc?

How do you delete messages, etc?
So I'm new, and have never been involved with a forum site such as this one. How do I delete a message or reply that I have posted and realize that I answered my question, or just sound plain stupid? It will let me edit the post, but there is no delete? Confused..

Only Moderators and Admins can delete or move them. I think there used to be a way for members to delete them...maybe that's changed. I've seen some edit them, to where it says "......".
But the choice is yours...tell us with a link, use the yellow triangle to report it or edit it yourself.
