And yes I will have to mess with them some. I will have to admit I was a little disappointed on my first ride. Everyone said day and night difference and I didn't really see that. But I just bought the bike a few weeks ago and only took one long ride to figure out something was wrong. I have had 5 or 6 Ultras and didn't remember them being so rough. Had to pump these up a lot to keep from bottoming out. Then it was too rough.
The jury is still out on the Ohlins. I just have a single 250 mile ride on them so too soon to tell. I wish I hadn't changed back to the stock seat before I rode. I didn't know it was going to hurt so much. My next ride will be with the Sundowner back on so I can really compare. I am also going to put a rubber grommet around the shoch shafts so I can see how much they are compressing. There is this one wide sweeping turn over a lake that was real scary with the stock shocks. With the Ohlins it's just scary instead of Real scary. It a long bridge that turns to the right and the cement goes up and down every few feet. i really though the Ohlins would do better than they did. I will have to do some more reasding. I think about all I can do to these shocks is get the compression set to about 1/3 of the travel and thats where they are suppose to be. Once I put the grommet on I'll know where I am at. Let me know if you have any other suggest
